I could be very formal and say “Marsha this” and “Marsha that” but that’s not who I am. I want you to know me as a real person. I am a wife, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, an ordained minister, a friend, a sister in Christ, a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, a fun person with a delightful sense of humor and serious when I need to be, a missionary to Haiti, a women’s conference speaker, and now a book author.
As an active Registered Nurse, I have traveled many times to Haiti over the years. Not only do I provide much needed medical services to the communities, I have also been given the opportunity to minister to both young and old alike. As a young adult, I had absolutely no clue that Haiti even existed. God knew what He was doing when He opened this door for me to serve Him.
I’m very much involved with the El Shaddai Orphanage with Sister Marie. Through various donations from my hometown of Palatka, Florida, and through my church, First Assembly of God, I have helped to send barrels of food and supplies to the orphanage on a monthly basis. Through providing food for the children who attend the school, it opens doors in the little ones’ hearts to see what God can do for them and their families.
Nothing gladdens my heart more than when I am serving the Lord through preaching His word or bringing others to the Lord.
